Thanks for sending the patterns so quickly. I have made 3 of the original "entwined" shawls and every where I go ,I get such positive comments-I have had women try to buy it off my back.  Hope you keep making unique patterns that are so knitter friendly-you have a real knack for patterns.

Good morning, I was wondering if your ears were ringing.  Vicki  was in our shop last week and we had a delightful conversation about you and we both sang your praises.  I just  want you to know what   a delight your patterns are to knit. It is a delight to knit one of your patterns and not have to worry about mistakes. We are planning on taking your patterns and putting them in kits to take to Knit Michigan in February.  Thanks for all you do  for the knitting community and I love your patterns.  Ruby

HI,

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you so very much for the wonderful fingerless mitten pattern. These are easy enough for even me a beginner. I made a pair for hubby last year and he loved them. I am making some for presents this year for Christmas. You are a wonderful designer. Your instructions were so very clear.

Just wanted to thank you.

This is not a difficult pattern - instructions are well written - am on my third one!! Try mixing a couple of lighter weight yarns to knit this shawl.

Your Wonderful Braided Glory Pattern!

Socks! Socks! Socks! I can't get enough of sock knitting that is until I saw this gorgeous knitted shawl called Braided Glory designed by Deby Lake. I'm not really a huge fan of shawls unless they are unique and this one is.
The braided front adds to this shawls' uniqueness. This was one pattern that I definitely didn't mind purchasing. The price was right in fact I would have paid more. This pattern is worth it.

Deby used to be a part of my design group and the 2nd place winner of a sock design contest we had going. Her winning pattern is called Aran Twist and is available free on her website.
After purchasing this pattern from her on Ravelry, she recognized my name and sent me this wonderful email that totally made my day. It read...

HI Gail,

If it was not for the sock contest you put on in 2006, I would not be doing what I am doing now. That contest really showed me how much fun it was to design. Winning second place was very exciting for me! I still have that sock pattern as one of my free ones here on Ravelry and my website.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say thanks!

WOW!!! What an honor it is to get feedback like that. Helping others is what makes me who I am.
