Fair Isle Felted Bag,Fair Isle Felted Bag

This bag was so much fun to make using fair isle knitting. After felting you cannot see the yarn carried along the back as it all felts together. I also think the ruffle gives the bag so much charactor.

Materials Needed:

3 skeins of solid Wool (Pattern knit with Paton’s Classic Brown, Navy rif" size="3">2 handles of your choice (these were purchased at JoAnns Fabrics) or you can make I-cord handles.

Button of choice for closure or snaps

US size 11- 24inch circular needles

Stitch markers

Gauge is not an issue.

Pre-felting size is 18”wide, 19”tall including ruffle and bottom.

After felting size is 13”wide, 14” tall.
